About Griffin's Hope

Griffin's Story

Griffin's Hope was founded after the heartbreaking loss of our son, Griffin Armand DeAngelis, in April 2025. Like so many families, we experienced the overwhelming grief, uncertainty, and profound heartbreak that follows the loss of a child. In the midst of our own journey, we discovered just how meaningful compassion, remembrance, and the support of others could be during life's darkest moments. Those experiences inspired us to create something that could offer comfort to other families facing a similar loss while ensuring Griffin's life would continue to make a lasting difference.

While nothing can erase the pain of losing a baby, we believe every child deserves to be remembered and every family deserves to feel seen, supported, and surrounded by compassion. Griffin's Hope was created to honor Griffin's legacy by providing thoughtfully curated memory boxes filled with meaningful keepsakes that help families preserve precious memories and celebrate the profound existence of their baby. Through every box we assemble, every hospital we partner with, and every family we serve, we hope to remind grieving parents that they are never alone and that their child's life will always be remembered with love.

Our Mission

At Griffin's Hope Inc., our mission is to honor the lives of babies lost through stillbirth and infant loss by providing grieving families with compassion, support, and remembrance. Inspired by the life of Griffin Armand DeAngelis, we create thoughtfully curated memory boxes that offer families a meaningful way to preserve precious memories while reminding them they are never alone. Through every box we deliver, every hospital partnership we build, and every donation we receive, we strive to bring comfort and hope during life's most difficult moments.

Our Approach

At Griffin's Hope, every decision we make is guided by compassion, remembrance, and the belief that every baby's life deserves to be honored. Our thoughtfully curated memory boxes are carefully assembled to provide grieving families with meaningful keepsakes that preserve precious memories and offer comfort during an incredibly difficult time. Each item is chosen with purpose, creating a lasting reminder of the love shared with their baby and the importance of remembering their story.

In addition to supporting families directly, we work alongside local hospitals and healthcare providers to ensure memory boxes are available when they are needed most. Through these partnerships and the generosity of our community, Griffin's Hope continues to expand its reach, providing comfort, hope, and support to grieving parents while honoring the lives of babies lost too soon. Every donation, volunteer, and community partnership helps us continue this mission and reminds families that they never have to walk their journey alone.

Our Impact

Through our memory boxes, we remember the profound existence of your babies — and every box we deliver is a small way of carrying that forward.

To honor what would have been Griffin's first birthday, we donated 60 yellow hats to Charlotte Hungerford Hospital. Yellow was chosen to represent hope, remembrance, and the gentle brightness Griffin brought into this world. Since then, our reach has grown: two comfort boxes went to Waterbury Hospital, and in total, we've proudly donated 8 comfort boxes to hospitals across our community, including Charlotte Hungerford, Hartford Hospital, MidState Medical Center, and Waterbury Hospital. Beyond our hospital partnerships, we've also provided 6 comfort boxes directly to families in our community facing the heartbreaking loss of an infant or newborn.

Every one of these numbers represents a family who didn't have to face their grief alone. Our mission is to offer comfort, support, and compassion during some of life's most difficult moments — and every donation helps us reach the next family who needs it.

Every Gift Creates a Lasting Memory

Your support allows Griffin's Hope to continue honoring babies, comforting grieving families, and providing memory boxes when they are needed most. Together, we can ensure no family walks this journey alone.
